D&E Computer Consulting Services, Inc. is a privately owned business, centrally located along the Treasure Coast in Sebastian, Florida, specializing in computer software/hardware solutions, training, customer support and systems analysis. These solutions cover the spectrum from a single system home/business configuration, to an office network of multiple systems, to a wide Area Network configuration of multiple offices with access to the Internet at any level of configuration. Included in the proposed solutions are all the equipment, training and support necessary to maintain security, reliability and efficiency.

D&E Computer Consulting Service Management Team takes pride in offering its customers personalized solutions based on careful, timely, thorough and thoughtful analysis of their computer needs. The subsequent recommendations based on this analysis are oriented toward the goal of maximizing productivity while reducing costs whenever possible. As our Florida customer-base needs change due to expansion or other business pressures, DECCS will continue to provide whatever services are available to resolve those ever-changing situations.

President David A. Rodriguez, Vice President Enrique Valencia and Treasurer Jean McCarthy currently hold the company’s stock. Prior to starting D&E Computer Consulting Services, Mr. Rodriguez held jobs as a Network Administrator, Web Master, Multi Media Specialist, Trainer and a Research and Development Group Manager. He has selected a small team with extensive computer and business skills, all of who will be invaluable to the new venture. His coworkers bring a combined total of 65 years of computer and business experience to the agency.

David A. Rodriguez, President and CEO. Before founding D&E Computer Consulting Services, Mr. Rodriguez helped in the planning and implementation of California’s most technologically advanced High School Library Resource Center at St. John Bosco High School. This establishment resulted in the first fully automated Library, Research Center, Computer Lab and Multi Media Center. In addition, he was the Web Master, Network Administrator, Multi Media Specialist, Trainer and group manager of the Research and Development Team.

In addition, Mr. Rodriguez was later contracted by the Norwalk – La Mirada Unified School District to assist schools in becoming compliant with the District’s guidelines regarding technological advancement. Mr. Rodriguez’s responsibilities included ordering and installing new computers; installing, developing and implementing new software and databases necessary to reach compliance and train staff on the use of the new systems and software.

In 1998, Mr. Rodriguez was hired by Hughes: Space and Communication, in El Segundo, California. Here, he was in charge of training every employee on the use of all computers, operating in the Windows NT 4.0 environment plus providing additional training on the usage of the network and Intranet. He also provided technical support to every employee and assisted network administrators to test, diagnose and trouble shooting the Hughes network and computer systems.

Prior to joining D&E Computer Consulting Services, Mr. Valencia worked as a software/hardware test engineer in the Large Systems Engineering Department at MAI Basic Four, Inc., a computer manufacturer in Tustin, California. This company provided software and hardware solutions to companies in a variety of businesses located in North, Central and South America, as well as Europe through various subsidiaries and distributors.

In November of 1984, Mr. Valencia transferred to the Worldwide Education Department at MAI Basic Four as a Senior Instructor. His responsibilities included the development, enhancement, scheduling and instruction of Operating System Theory courses for domestic and international branch office personnel. Due to his Spanish fluency, courses taught by Mr. Valencia internationally in Latin America were presented in Spanish, with reference to technical terms in English.

Mr. Valencia’s last position at MAI Basic Four until August 1989 was as Senior Engineer for the Applications Engineering Department. He was responsible as Project leader for the certification of the Office Automation, Menu Services and Database/Application Generator projects across multiple Operating System levels. He coordinated testing activities for 3 6 engineers in order to meet the certification goals for the project. In addition, Mr. Valencia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine.

The volunteer members of the Board of Directors provide guidance to the management and staff of D&E Computer Consulting Services. The board meets once a year to discuss policy changes, review the mission statement, and update the business plan if needed.
